Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise is in the process of opening a new casino in Arizona which will be the Desert Diamond Casino in West Valley. The casino is expected to open its doors to the public before the end of 2015 and will have over 1000 gaming machines for its patrons.
The project is split into different phases and $200 million has been invested into the first phase of the project. The casino will have a number of high end restaurants, entertainment facilities that feature the latest music, comedy and nightlife along with an innovative convention centre. The Desert Diamond Casino recently partnered with Konami Gaming so that the company’s flagship SYNKROS software can be implemented. Konami is a specialist in casino and gaming systems and its SYNKROS software is a high-tech casino management system that will be used to streamline the entire process of the Desert Diamond Casino and provide a seamless experience to its customers.
Although the casino is still under construction, the leadership team wanted to finalize the software that will be used inside the casino so that there will be no delays in the setting up of operations. The casino reviewed a number of providers before deciding to go with Konami as the features offered by SYNKROS include Advanced Incentives Bonusing and SYNKiosk which will assist the casino manage operations more effectively.

Desert Diamond currently operates three casinos in Arizona located in Why, Sahuarita and Tucson. West Valley will be its 4th casino and Desert Diamond wants to make sure that it has everything in place to start off on the right foot and avoid the usual start-up problems.
Don Ayers, director of slots at Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment was excited at the progress the casino was making and was eager to open the casino to the public.
